Good afternoon, The Estelline School District is sending this notification out to the district to make patrons aware of an uptick in cases of Covid-19 and Hand, Foot, and Mouth. Covid-19: We currently have four active cases throughout the middle and high school. This brings our total to six confirmed positive cases in the school district for the 2021-22 school year. We are also aware of other students throughout the entire district that are currently waiting on Covid-19 test results. Please, continue to monitor your student’s health for any signs or symptoms of Covid-19. If they are experiencing any signs or symptoms, please keep them home and get them tested. Please see the resources under the Covid-19 page of the school website for further information on signs and symptoms. Hand, Foot, and Mouth: HFM is generally not a serious condition, but it is very easily transmissible amongst children. According to the Center for Disease Control, symptoms can generally include sores within the mouth, and skin rash (red sores) near the mouth, hands, and feet. If your child is experiencing these symptoms, please keep them home and contact your medical provider. The district will continue to sanitize common surfaces on a regular basis to help cut down on the transmission of these viruses. If you have any questions, please contact the either Dr. Eric Bass or Mr. Justin Pitts at the Estelline school.

Good afternoon, As the number of Covid-19 cases begin to increase in the county and community, the Estelline School District wanted to provide an update on our current situation. So far in the 2021-2022 school year, we have had two confirmed positive cases, both have been students in the high school. We have had a good number of students tested for Covid-19 throughout the elementary, middle, and high school, all of which have come back negative other than the two positive cases. We continue to ask that parents and guardians please screen your students for any symptoms your student may be experiencing. If they are feeling ill or displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, please keep them home and have them tested. Other school districts in our area have seen a rapid rise in case over the last two weeks and we hope to avoid a similar scenario. The school district’s Covid-19 Protocols can be found on the Estelline School District website under the Menu Icon. Estelline School District
